JerusaLAND, is unique, a 3 days/ 2 nights trek, from Tel Azeka located on the Judean hill slopes, to Jerusalem.
About 60 KM of moderate hike
Itinerary:
Day 1 – Our hike starts at Tel Azeka, the location of the biblical duel between David and Goliath, up to Ness Harim where we stop for the night. From Tel Azeka we proceed to Kiaffa ruins, a unique archeological site from the time of King David. Here was found the most ancient Hebrew writing.
During the day we pass through a Kibbutz, walk along the Caesar road, a Roman paved way, meet old wine and olive press, discover the remains of a Byzantine church with its beautiful mosaic, and enjoy tiny water spring spots and great outdoor meals.
By late afternoon we reach the campsite. A generous setting and your luggage are waiting for you.
Day 2 – From Ness Harim To the Water springs way, nearby Jerusalem. During the day we walk through Ein Kobi, Refaim valley, up to Ein Seadim and along the Water springs way. For some of you the highlight of the day might be the revelation of Jewish wisdom in a Talmud lesson and other may be touched in the evening when we sit together around the fire accompanied by the guitar.
Day 3 – From the Water springs way, to the old city of Jerusalem. Entering Jerusalem as did pilgrims from a variety of origins and religions through decades. In the village of Ein Karem we will relate to the birth of Christianity. In Mount Herzel some of us will be moved by Israel national symbols of Holocaust and Rebirth. That's Jerusalem. Our trek then proceeds beside the Knesset (Israel parlament), museums, university, residential neighborhoods until the very moment when the old city is reviled. The trek ends on the walls of the old city, with a superb view of the city with its mosques, churches and synagogues. It's late afternoon, your luggage are waiting for you, time to separate and make your way to the accommodation of your choice. Later you might meet your friends again.
Rate: 590US$ Per Person

- intimate groups, 12 to 18 participants
- Full board and camping gear.

- Walk with light gear. Your luggage is transferred along.
- Pick up in the morning of the first day from Tel Aviv Jaffa hotel zone and Neve Shalom village, near Emmaus.
Terms & condition:
* The JerusaLAND trek is a regular service, every Wednesday (from Tel Aviv, reaching Jerusalem on Fridays at the afternoon, on time for Sabbath), between September and June, included.
* Departuew is with Minimum 8 participants per group. Trek can be cancelled a week ahead.
